I am here to give DMDE a million stars if i could. My 2TB SSD which had 1.5tb of data (music/photos/video/games/etc) all of sudden went "raw" and nothing could read/write or access it, Mac or Windows. Somehow the file/format/partition tree just ceased to function. Spent all of Christmas day tearing my hair out and going through so many so-called data recovery software, all to no avail.
Just happened to come across a help forum where someone casually mentioned DMDE, and i thought to give it a try.
Problem solved. It could see the drive, it's partition, and all the contents after a full scan. Able to move all data off to another drive. Nothing lost. Highly recommended.

Suffered $MFT & $MFTMirr failure on both 16TB primary and 16TB backup drive during a sync. OS was unable to access the drives. I felt defeated since I had taken steps to eliminate a single point of failure.

The software seems complex, but is easy to adapt to and learn, the help files provide a cornucopia of information. If the files name has been lost, you can search by size (if known) of files, filter and narrow down search results and recover those, then examine the file, either by opening it or comparing hashes.

In my case, the $MFT corruption was distinctly different enough across both drives; that deep scans produced enough results for me to recover nearly 95% of my data. So many memories, projects, rare disc backups, the list goes on. Still recovering data and reorganizing it, but just glad to have most of it.

I have to say that since rekuva, which was not bad. Ease US was one I had before, but it had corrupted things. It didn't do a good job. But this is flawless, I am so impressed with the brains of the people that came up with this. Software. I recommend all my friends.This software over every one of them and the good part about it is the one time fee is worth it for life.

Ich konnte eine externe Festplatte nach einem Stromausfall nicht mehr auslesen. Mit DMDE habe ich es geschafft, andere Programme haben keine Dateien gefunden oder konnten die Orderstruktur und Dateinamen nicht rekonstruieren. Nach der einfachen und schnellen Registrierung habe ich für 16 Euro die Festplatte wieder hergestellt. Ein absolut faires Angebot!

For what ever reason, transferring files from my Sony Tough SD card to PC failed part way, and the files became corrupt. Then I couldn't open the folder on my pc or even my Sony A1 camera. It was telling me to reformat the SD card!
I even tried the Sony Tough recovery software - Failed!
However, DMDE quickly found all RAW images and I was able to restore all of them. Thanks!

I was recently asked to be a photographer at a friend's wedding. In the process of trying to backup and prevent this from even happening in the first place, I somehow WIPED the SD card. Must have power tool to it-people. Not only restore deleted files. This is much more. Saved several computers with this. Can access image files and also you can access Windows 7 backup image and restore it with this. Edit and create disk file systems back to alive. And much more.
