DMDE - How to recover files in a subfolder in the free version

Sometimes users have difficulties in recovering files from a subfolder. To do this in the free version, you need to open the desired folder in the file pane.

Make sure that you don't have any other checked files anymore. To do this, you can look at the top-level checkbox. If necessary, uncheck it.

After that you can mark the files in the selected folder. To mark all the files in the selected folder at once, you need to use the top checkbox of the folder. After that, click Recover.

If the program prompts you to choose to recover in the free version or enter a license key, choose “Continue in the free version”. This way you can recover up to 4000 checked files from an open folder. If you have more than this number or have files in other subfolders, you can do it all over again.

After recovery, check that your files are working.
