I am a retired Technology Engineer, I have a windows laptop and a Macbbok Pro. I have been using a 5TB external drive to save and transfer files between the computers. Because I probably did not eject the USB connection properly and use it with another OS my drive would not mount and became corrupted. Thru a Google Gemini search I found DDME along with other recovery solutions, DDME worked like a champ to mount and make visible my files for recovery. It’s not for the faint of heart inexperienced user but a nessesary tool in the arsenal for data recovery professionals. Hats off to DDME and thank you. Well worth $20 to recover my files.

The program works great. It detected the three partitions I accidentally deleted while trying to back up my data, preserved the folder structure when restoring the data to another hard drive, and thus recovered 99.9% of the data I thought was lost.

Incredible job. I accidentally deleted a folder on my external drive and this program recovered it. I gave it four stars though since the images it recovered weren't able to be opened.

Thank you! My pc no longer reads my SSD and it stucks on the windows loading screen. File explorer and Bios cannot access the SSD but I am able to use DMDE to recover my files. Thank you x 1000000!

Tenía una tarjeta SD en mal estado en donde tenía muchísimas fotos que quería recuperar pero mi laptop no lograba encontrar ningún archivo. Este programa realmente me ayudó a recuperar absolutamente TODO, hasta varias fotos que ya no figuaraban en la cámara digital (eliminadas).

Wo andere Programme nach stundenlangem scannen, nichts wiederherstellen können, braucht DMDE nur wenige Stunden um die Daten meiner gelöschten Partition wiederherzustellen.
Besonderen Dank an den Entwickler und Software sofort gekauft, obwohl mir die Freevariante ausgereicht hätte!

I am here to give DMDE a million stars if i could. My 2TB SSD which had 1.5tb of data (music/photos/video/games/etc) all of sudden went "raw" and nothing could read/write or access it, Mac or Windows. Somehow the file/format/partition tree just ceased to function. Spent all of Christmas day tearing my hair out and going through so many so-called data recovery software, all to no avail.
Just happened to come across a help forum where someone casually mentioned DMDE, and i thought to give it a try.
Problem solved. It could see the drive, it's partition, and all the contents after a full scan. Able to move all data off to another drive. Nothing lost. Highly recommended.
