Accidentally formatted a 2TB external drive, losing a lot of backup videos/images. This program worked great at recovering most of it. It's a lot of data to sift through but I'm so very greatful this program exists at a reasonable cost. Thank you so much!!!

I have an SD card with a bunch of photos of me and my girlfriend. I have piss-poor memory, so photos & videos are a great way to look back on things. Internet is too slow to upload things to the cloud or something.

On the free copy alone, recovered all ~1200 photos/videos of us. Have spent the past 15 minutes crying happy tears.

I have a drive that used to be in a WD My Book and the card in the enclosure decided to bork up one day. That drive has my whole music library that I ripped from CDs I bought back in the pre .mp3 days. It also had all the rips from my audio books I had on CD.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I don't have the physical media anymore so re-ripping it all was just not an option :(

I'd tried some free trials of other software and none of them even got close to seeing the file structure or getting the names of the files.
DMDE, though, just saved my day. I've never shelled out $20 faster than when I saw that it could see all my stuff and was able to successfully recover a sampling of folders.
